Country Director Alex Dane Fraser participated alongside the citizens, particularly those from Region 5, as we convened at the Lachmansingh Primary School in Bush Lot, West Coast Berbice for the interfaith national service, commemorating the victims of the MV Barima.
This occasion honours not only those who tragically lost their lives but also those who were fortunate enough to be rescued. The anguish and trauma experienced by all the affected families is profound, and mere words cannot adequately express it.
